Scholarship at Coventry University level PhD Studentship in Applied Mathematics (Fluid Dynamics) Deadline 1September 2012 for EU Citizens at Faculty of Engineering and Computing, Coventry University, Coventry University invites applications for a 3.5-year PhD Industrial CASE studentship in Applied Mathematics (Fluid Dynamics). The studentship is co-funded by the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council and Culham Centre for Fusion Science. The work, to be performed in collaboration with Culham and with Ilmenau University of Technology (Germany), involves Direct Numerical Simulation of turbulent flow in rectangular ducts in the presence of a strong magnetic field with reference to liquid metal blankets for fusion reactors.
