Scholarship Teens Drive Smart Video Value: $25,000, Awards Available: 3, Deadline June 22 2012, The contest is open to legal permanent residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia, age 16 to 21, at the time of entry. Participants must have a valid driver's license and be registered as full-time student at an accredited secondary, college or trade school. Proof of age and identity must be furnished upon request. Individuals who have previously received a scholarship through a gift in the previous version of this contest (referred to as the Safety Scholars) and children of employees of Bridgestone America Tire Operations, LLC or institution are not eligible.

Official rules can be changed at any time without written notice, Sponsor in its sole discretion. Entered in the contest is available only at www.TeensDriveSmart.com. Participants must submit original videos between 25 to 55 seconds in length on one or more issues or topics related to car safety. The video should convey effective ways to improve driver safety for drivers ages 16 to 21 and must not contain the work (in whole or in part) that is subject to copyright or violate the intellectual property rights of third parties. Video should not include anything that is inappropriate for publication (eg, no profanity, nudity, hate, illegal acts or gratuitous violence).

Video must address the theme of the Contest and shall not have been submitted to any competition or contest, or has received an award prior to submission as entries in this Contest. Once delivered, the video can not be altered, edited or changed by the participants. Video must be original work of the participants. Upon submission, Sponsor is given, irrevocable perpetual, worldwide right to display, reproduce, distribute, publish and create derivative works of the video in any format or media.
