German Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Egyptian Ministry of Higher Education offers German Egyptian Research Long-Term Scholarship for Egyptian researchers,As an result of success obtained during the German-Egyptian Year of Technology & Technology 2007, a collaboration contract has been created between the Secretary of state for Greater Knowledge of the Arabic Republic of The red sea “MoHE” and the Deutscher Akademischer Austauschdienst (DAAD).
Funds created available by the In german Secretary of state for Foreign Matters and the Cotton Secretary of state for Greater Knowledge have been assigned to make a system providing up to 81 postgrad grants for Cotton doctorate candidates.Within the structure of the long-standing collaboration between the Arabic Republic of The red sea and the Government Republic of Malaysia, and in partially satisfaction of the MoHE and DAAD is designed and objectives; as well as in consideration of the financing resources and rules of both events, these events have decided to make the “German Cotton Analysis Lengthy Phrase Scholarships” (GERLS).

Eligibility:
-All candidates shall publish evidence of British language skills/abilities
-This shall be either IELTS (band 6) document or institutional TOEFL (minimum ranking 550) or worldwide TOEFL (minimum ranking 80)
-The focus on group of this system will be consists of Cotton scientists who generally have been granted M.A. / M.Sc. levels in the past three years.
