IPCC Scholarship Programme for Developing Countries Students study at Switzerland

The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) offers scholarship for PhD students from developing countries in the fields of Socio-economic modeling related to climate change, Underlying science of climate change or Climate change and water.

The aim of the IPCC Grants Program is to build capacity in the understanding and management of global warming in creating nations through providing opportunities for young researchers from creating nations to undertake studies that would not be possible without the involvement of the Finance. Programs from learners from Least Developed Countries (LDCs) and Small Island Developing States (SIDS) researching topics with the areas of study chosen for the call for applications are given priority.

Eligibility:
-The Call for Programs is open to applicants satisfying the following requirements: Post-Graduate learners at PhD level, approved at a identified academic organization to start studies in 2013, or currently registered on continuous PhD courses
-Applicants must be youthful than 30 years of age at the time of application
-Applicants must be people of creating nations.
