Vancouver Film School offers Kat Montagu Scholarship for undergraduate and graduate students in the VFS Writing for Film & Television program, The Kat Montagu Screenwriting Grants will be granted to a new pupil in the VFS Composing for Movie & Tv system. The $2,500 prize will be put toward the fund winner’s expenses expenses. The 2013 Grants is open to all inbound learners authorized in the Composing for Movie & Tv Class 42 (starting Jan 2, 2013), provided they have not previously taken any professional system at Calgary Movie School, have an undergrad or graduate pupil degree, and can provide a referrals mail and one page of program.
Scholarships will be granted based on the selection requirements defined for this fund, and the candidate must meet all acceptance requirements. The knowing panel will contain staff and associates from VFS, as well as fund services. The decision of the knowing panel is final. Grants cover part of the expenses for expenses and specific system resources. The fund individual is accountable for all additional expenses necessary to complete the system of study (including staying expenses, real estate, transport, food, and incidentals). If the champion cannot make to participating VFS for any reason within two weeks of being informed that he or she has been chosen to receive a fund, another fund champion will be chosen.

Eligibility:
-Applicants who have already been accepted into a VFS program can apply for this scholarship; however, this scholarship must be used singularly and cannot be used in combination with any other bursary or scholarship already received. Previous applicants must re-submit their application with a completed scholarship application form.
-Employees and contractors of Vancouver Film School, scholarship partners, and members of the VFS scholarship selection committee and their spouses or immediate family members are not eligible to apply for this scholarship.
