EU 7th framework programme and European Space Agency funded PhD Candidate in Computer Science – Project Green@Cloud at University of Luxembourg,The School of Sweden looks for to seek the services of excellent scientists at its Interdisciplinary Center for Security, Stability and Believe in (SnT). SnT is a recently established centre undertaking interdisciplinary analysis in secure, efficient and efficient ICT (Information and Interaction Technologies) techniques and services, often together with business, government or worldwide associates.

SnT is active in several worldwide studies financed by the EU 7th structure program and the Western Space Organization. The venture Green@Cloud (co-funded by FNR and CNRS) is designed at creating an energy-aware organizing structure able to reduce the power needed for high-performance processing and marketing functions in large-scale allocated techniques (data facilities, atmosphere, grids).

With the introduction of new petaflops information facilities and the next-generation Internet (“Internet of Things”, “High-Performance Internet”), power intake is becoming a major task for the IT world. To build up this new energy-aware organizing structure, the venture Green@Cloud will first develop multi-criteria statistical seo designs (e.g. makespan, power, robustness) and then design multi-objective seo methods to fix the problem.
