The Institute of Photonic Sciences offers Postdoctoral position in the field of experimental cold atom physics, quantum optics or neighbouring fields. The effective candidate(s) will be part of a Western Analysis Council-funded venture “Atomic Huge Metrology” in the list of Prof. Morgan Mitchell. The team is very effective in massive metrology, with latest results such as the first visual magnetometry beyond the shot-noise restrict, the first whirl compressing in a magnetically-sensitive cold-atom system, the first dimensions beyond the Heisenberg restrict, and the first use of massive optics to improve non-destructive statistic.
