It is the start of another academic year. The Honors faculty and staff are truly excited to have our students back on campus. We welcome a stellar class of 386 first-year students to the Honors Program, raising the total number students in the program to 1592! It is our largest incoming class in the history of the program! Here is a brief profile of our first-year students:

This fall our 15 Honors faculty are teaching 18 sections of HONR192 seminar, 7 sections of HONR392 seminar, and 5 sections of HONR492 seminar. An exceptional and enthusiastic group of 36 peer advisors will conduct the recitation for NSCI 192. Over 200 students will be completing their Honors thesis in HONR499. It promises be a great year.

The goal of the Honors Program is to provide an enriched educational program of study for academically talented and motivated students at Colorado State University. Honors students benefit from small, discussion-based seminars taught by some of the University's finest faculty members, personalized academic advising, priority enrollment, opportunities for leadership, research and community service, and special scholarships. Many Honors students choose to live in one of our Residential Learning Communities.
