Texas Wesleyan University Undergraduate Scholarships For International Student

Freshman Academic Scholarships, Transfers Academic Scholarships, and Phi Theta Keppa Scholarships are only available to undergraduate students.

Scholarships are typically renewable for the number of semesters needed to complete the program of study with a maximum of 8 semesters. You must only meet the required yearly cumulative grade point average and maintain full-time enrollment.

Scholarships are paid directly to your account, with half of the scholarship money distributed in the fall semester and the other half in the spring semester.

President's Scholarship
$10,000/year up to $40,000 for 4 years
Required: GPA of 3.8 or higher
Maintain: 3.0 grade point average

Dean's Scholarship
$9,000/year up to $32,000 for 4 years
Required: GPA range of 3.50 - 3.79
Maintain: 3.0 grade point average

University Scholarship
$7,000/year up to $26,000 for 4 years
Required: GPA range of 3.0 - 3.49
Maintain: 2.75 grade point average

Ram Award
$3,000/year up to $12,000 for 4 years
Requied: GPA range of 2.5 - 2.99
Maintain: 2.5 grade point average

Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) Scholarship ($1,000 / year)
Applicant must be a member of a Phi Theta Kappa chapter from transferring institution with a 3.0 GPA or higher. Proof of membership and 45 transferable credit hours required. Recipient must maintain a 3.25 grade point average.

Phi Theta Kappa President Scholarship ($1,000 / year)
Applicant must be president of Phi Theta Kappa chapter from transferring institution with a 3.5 GPA or higher. This scholarship is awarded in addition to the Phi Theta Kappa Scholarship.

On-campus Room Grants
A limited number of housing grants paying for on-campus housing in Stella or Elizabeth halls (without meals) are awarded to both incoming and continuing Texas Wesleyan University students.

Performance-based Scholarships
In addition to the academic scholarships, students with outstanding abilities in athletics or fine arts may be eligible for performance-based scholarships. Performance-based scholarships are awarded through athletics or fine arts departments.

Eligibility
Award eligibility is based on information that you submitted to the Office of Financial Aid, on the availability of federal, state, and institutional funds, and includes any academic, performance, or departmental scholarships you have been offered.Awards are subject to revocation and revision based on funding, eligibility and/or enrollment changes.
