Scholarship at NBAA and the family and friends of Lawrence Ginocchio, NBAA and the family and friends of Lawrence Ginocchio annually award $4,500 to each of five undergraduate students who are enrolled at NBAA/University Aviation Association (UAA)-member institutions. The Lawrence Ginocchio Aviation Scholarship was created in 2001 by NBAA and the family and friends of the late Lawrence Ginocchio to honor his outstanding personal contribution to the business aviation community. Named for a remarkable man whose strength of character inspired a high standard of caring in the aviation community, this scholarship recognizes those individuals who have demonstrated honesty, integrity and selflessness in their dealings with others. These individuals should possess a passion for aviation, as Larry Ginocchio did, and have utilized their interest or involvement in business aviation to enhance the lives of others.

Eligibility:
Awards will be made to U.S. citizens without regard to sex, race, religion or national origin. Applicants must be full-time undergraduate students enrolled for the academic year in an aviation-related two-year or four-year degree program at an NBAA/UAA-member institution with a GPA of at least 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
