Fellowships Postdoctoral Degree at American School

The American School of Classical Studies at Athens is pleased to announce the fifth year of a
five-year program of fellowships funded by the Samuel H. Kress Foundation. These Fellowships are aimed at supporting scholars who are assigned material for publication from the School’s excavations at Ancient Corinth or the Athenian Agora. The Kress Foundation supports research in the art and architecture of antiquity.

Program 2013/2014 Kress Publication Fellowships at American School of Classical Studies, Greece Open for International Greece Students.

Eligibility:
- Senior (post-doctoral) scholars working on a Corinth or Agora publication assignment.
- Preference will be given to those working on a Corinth or Agora excavation volume and to those applicants who have not previously received the Kress Publications Fellowship.
- Applications from current staff of the School are not eligible.

Number of awards offered: The School awards up to three or more grants each cycle.

Duration of award(s): Grants are for a minimum of three months (up to $10,000) to a maximum of nine months (up to $30,000).

What does it cover? A total of $30,000 is available for each grant cycle, defined as the School’s fiscal year (July 1 – June 30).
