Griffith University offers Scholarships for Honors, Graduate and Postgraduate Programme in Australia, The Patience Thoms Indigenous Australian (Honours/Postgraduate) Scholarships are designed to assist Indigenous students moving onto Honours and Graduate studies at Griffith University. The scholarship aims to give both material and financial support for Indigenous students who require such support to complete further university studies.

What does it cover?
There are 16 scholarships available, each to the value of up to $4000 ($2000 for part-time) in material support (i.e. computer, textbooks, Netcheck) and/or up to $1000 ($500 for part-time students) of financial support to be paid over two instalments. This is to a total value of $4000 for a year for full-time students ($2000 for part-time students). Masters students who take more than one year to complete their program will be able to re-apply for further support.

To be eligible for the Patience Thoms Indigenous Australian (Honours/Postgraduate) Scholarship, an applicant must:
