Scholarship Postdoctoral Researcher Economic and Technological University Ff Bonn 2012 Germany Deadline June 30 2012, The postdoctoral researcher will work at ZEF in collaboration with renowned international researchers in the context of a European Commission-funded project “Exploring the Future of Global Food and Nutrition Security (FNS)”. In that project the impacts of evolving science and technology landscapes are studied in relation to development. Further, the researcher will interact with the ZEF interdisciplinary research team on “science for development”. The aim of related research is to answer questions such as: Which science systems and policies are successful in supporting sustainable economic growth in developing economies? What makes them successful?
The researcher will be responsible for the delivery of research outputs linked with but not limited to:
* Science investment priority setting in developing countries, with focus on sustainable economic growth impacts
* Develop instruments for guiding FNS public science investments in Europe and in developing countries
* Impact assessments of science landscapes, R&D products, and institutions on FNS and contributing to science scenarios in global modeling
* Facilitate related workshops and seminars
* Draft new research proposals in cooperation with the ZEF team.
